Construction Contracts Explained
After any initial kinks are ironed out, Blink Developments will provide an overview of building costs for a standard ABIC construction contract. We’ll break down every cost using the same contracted pricing and compare it to other projects in our portfolio so you know what your budget should be!
Communication
Communication is the key to ensuring construction goes smoothly. As architects, it’s our job not only design beautiful buildings but also make sure they get built! This work can be complicated and sometimes we need to collaborate with other professionals like contractors or engineers on a project. The best way for us all to communicate effectively? That would have to be in person so that everyone has enough time and space needed for discussion!
Communication must happen often when working collaboratively during the building process because communication will help ensure everything moves quickly without any hiccups along the way
Project Program
A project program will be developed to present a timeline of all the key milestones for construction. This ensures that everyone is on-board with what has been done, what needs to happen next and when decisions must be made so as not to negatively affect progress.
Project Foreman
The project foreman will be the backbone of any building job. They’ll oversee all bureaucracy and work behind-the-scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish, plus they’re in charge of scheduling – make sure you know who your Project Foreman is!
From auditing paperwork for compliance with safety regulations and written contracts, managing tight deadlines for construction workers’ schedules or overseeing every detail at ground level (from where materials are stored to what time staff arrive), this individual must maintain a handle on it all while bearing much more weight than anyone else involved in order meet expectations.
